Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how College Crimes handles information during its launch stage. The website currently collects email-list signups for future publication updates and receives messages sent to contact@collegecrimes.com.

Email-list signup

College Crimes invites readers to join its list for campus case histories, institutional accountability, and useful explanations of university systems. The signup form asks for your email address and requires you to accept this statement: “I agree to receive email updates from College Crimes.”

When you sign up, Publisher Tools 1.14.1 stores your email address in the website’s WordPress database. It also stores a duplicate-check value created from a standardized version of the address, the signup time, the page path where you signed up, the consent wording you accepted, and the collection status. The stored page path excludes query strings and page fragments.

The form uses basic anti-spam checks and short-lived, hashed network identifiers to limit repeated submissions. Signup records remain stored until an authorized administrator removes them or processes an erasure request.

This launch service collects signups for future updates. Newsletter sending, confirmation, and delivery features require a separate future setup and are not part of the present collection service.

When you send us a message

Email sent to contact@collegecrimes.com provides College Crimes with the sender’s email address, the message, and any attachments. We use that information to review and handle the request, question, correction, or other matter described in the email.

Access to signup records

Authorized WordPress administrators can view and export signup records or remove individual entries. WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools also include these records.

To ask about your signup information, request a copy, or request removal, email contact@collegecrimes.com. Identify the email address used for the signup so the relevant record can be located.

Your choices

Joining the email list is your choice, and the form records your agreement to receive email updates. You may later use the contact address above to review or remove your signup record.
